A Kind Of Software

Application software is a lot, but sometimes we do not know what kind of software, including applications and one interpret. The following type - type of software application:

Packaged Software: Software that has required regular Copyright by individual users and companies.Example: Ms.Office 2007, Adobe Photoshop, etc.

Custom Software: Software that has a specific function. This software is usually ordered by a company to programmers with commonly used functions in the company. example: Application Acceptance of new students, etc.

Web-based software: software that is on the website. user can use it from any computer connected to the Internet. Example: e-mail, web browser games, etc.

Open Source software: software that we can use, modify and distribute it over.

shareware: software that has copyright and distributed for free with a certain period.

Freeware: software that has copyright free and can we use but we are not able to modify it as open source.

Public - domain software: software that has a copyright and the public to donate and not restricted its use. Each person can copy and distribute it to other people. Example: GNU / Linux

CLI = Logic??

   Hi friends, at this time we continued about CLI. Okey Lets's begin to study. Are u remmber if not u can read at this. Now we can study about a standard syntax at CLI.

Let's begin!!

1. pwd = Print the current working directory
Print the current working directory is a syntax that show our work location.
2. ls = list
show file list 
3. mkdir = make directory
create directory
4. cp = copy
copy file or folder
5. cd = change directory
change to your location
6. man = manual
see manual book

That is only a few of standard syntax CLI, but that's enough for like us (newbie).
Okay, I show you an example of that syntax

for numbers 3, 4, 5, dan 6 u can try with yourself, but if u can' use that u can use this syntax : man_syntax
_ = spasi
example : man_cp

At the directory, usually have a file .(one point) and .. (two point)
. = it's a path to itself
.. = it's a path to up directory

Example :

 At CLI u can use absolute path and relative path
absolute path is a path where it's absolute, u can use it's permanently. example : /home/user/test
but relative path is a path a path relative and can be used for spesific condition. example : .. and .

Task
If u want to create a directory at this condition :
-the directory is at this path /home/user and create distro
-then at directory distro create two directory again there are debian and redhat
-at least at directory debian create directory ubuntu.
-u must use one syntax

Open Arena "3D Game Linux"

    Are u GNU/Linux user?? if true u must know this game. This is a 3D game at GNU/Linux and the name is open arena. This Game is like Unreal Tournament. Although this game is like a "succesor" for unreal tournament but I think a quality of 3D at this game is lack.Game style is not bad, because it's like Counter Strike but with a unreal weapon like thundergun, rocket launcer, etc. At this game u can't buy a weapon because if u want a weapon u only go to that weapon and Binggo that weapon is yours. CLI and GUI

  CLI is Command Line interface or some people call CUI Character based user interface. This Command Line interface give a command or instruction to computer with teks form. Command Line interface Form is only text-based. Command Line interface is different with GUI (Graphic User Interface) or Graphics based. Two of them have a good and lack themself. Example : If We want to create ten directory with a different name at the GUI is difficult. We must click until several click to build tehm and that make a long time, however if we use Command Line interface we JUST write a one Command. Command Line interface can make it easy with a command "mkdir_namedirectory1_namedirectory2" without quote and _ is asymbol of space.
But the other side if we want to create a picture at Command Line interface we must  have a knowledge about aritmathics and it's not easy, but if we want to create a picture at Graphic User Interface it's very easy. We only use our Creatifity.
